Samsonite loop with hexagon coupler

Removed the ‘Pettersson couplers’ (toilet rolls) and replaced them with 3D printed ‘Hexagon couplers’.

Mounted hexagon couplers with antennas in parallel.

Mounted hexagon couplers with antennas in parallel. Then tuned for WSPR on 80m and 30m.

80m: VSWR 1:1.087
30m: VSWR 1:1.068
Wider sweep shows both resonance (VSWR looks worse because resolution at wider sweep – it is still good)

Two loops resonates at different frequencies in parallel in same suitcase! Now we connect radio and wait.

80m picked up en Finland and 30m in north and middle Europe.

YES!!! 80m picked up in Finland and 30m in north and middle Europe. After some hours of stable operation I checked tuning and it is stable.

Success, will try with ALE later in week.

Annoying details is that tuning change slightly when closing suitcase. Working on solution where I can tune without opening it.
